Originally the gate house to Gillingshill House, The Lodge @ East Neuk Orchards sleeps four.  Both bedrooms have en-suite showers, and one has a bath.

West facing, The Lodge has a picturesque exterior with a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. No one will feel left out regardless of who is on cooking duty.  A split stable style door out of the kitchen, brings the outside in and a beautiful view to the trees behind.

Outside the kitchen is a paved area, lawn and terrace, natural unspoilt grounds for picnics, BBQ’s or roaming. There is also off-road car parking. 

Please note there are slopes and drops in the ground. This property can be booked with The Barracks @ East Neuk Orchards to accommodate 12 guests.

All accommodation is on one level:

  • Two steps up into the house & two steps to:

  • Open plan living space with wooden floor 

  • Living area with wood burner (initial logs included) and 32” Freeview Smart TV with DVD player

  • Dining area

  • Kitchen area with electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/tumble drier

  • Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed and en-suite shower room.

  • Bedroom 2 with twin beds and en-suite bath and shower room.

The walk around the orchard was nice and there’s a lovely nature reserve walk just over the road. “This cottage was lovely. Tastefully furnished and decorated. It was in a lovely peaceful location. It was spotlessly clean. Because of Covid I had taken my own cleaning spray thinking I would feel better cleaning it myself, however it was so very clean I didn’t have to do a thing. The owner, Lisa, is very helpful, keeping in contact by email asking if we need anything. We will definitely book this cottage again next year.”
